I am Back after Six months : Koh Samui, Thailand.

Sawadee Krab from Koh Samui!

I've been busy after I created this blog: I was working on an another blog named www.jamesvideoclops.blogspot.com. Mean while the blog itself of course was on the web viewed by http://www.videojug.com/ and honored me to write about food for the web page. Anyway, back to what I was talking about.

After school, I traveled almost all over the west of the United States with Allen, whom I know about 10 years, who has been sponsoring, helping and guiding for my future. With his generosity, I went to study in Seattle, WA, U.S.A for two years. To tell you the truth, it is going to be a long story to talk about me, so it will be on another page. Anyway, traveling in the states is wonderful that I have been most of the places on the west coast.
As soon as I finished the school, I flew to Fremont, California to meet Allen and we stayed at Motel 6 for a week. Then It was my turn to drive all the way to get Yuma, Arizona. ( trip about via cities). On the way, we stopped at Reno first. We went to eat at Brown Bear Dining.(More coming)

100 Dishes for 4 days!

My second quarter for Culinary Arts program has started on April 4 th. For the first week of the quarter, Camille, who is my group partner and me were assigned for Dish Machine Operating (DMO). Although I didn't like to do it, I had to work as the class schedule. As we were working there, we were excited to be in the kitchen cooking diversity of dishes for students. Camille and me were assigned for the students Entre`e for the second week.
I didn't know what Camille was going to cook, but I knew that we have to cook one day pasta with choice of sauce, two days two different kinds of main courses and one day for Vegetarian. I planned my menu for students lunch for April 20 - 23.
April 20, 2010. Spaghetti with Tomatoes sauce.(25 portions.)
April 21, 2010. Sautee`d Chicken breast with White Wine Mushroom Sauce. ( 25 portions.)
April 22, 2010. Thai Green Curry of Pork with Vegetable. (25 portions.)
April 23, 2010. Quinoa Salad with Red Bell Pepper in the Ice berg. (25 portions.)

Wow!! TGIF. Anyway, I was so happy that all the dishes that I have cooked were not sent to Shelter meaning no left over .  Well, Next week, me and my friend are going to be Butchers. I am so excited to be in that station. More Later!
